As we get older, and time goes on we typically begin to earn more money in our careers.
We may begin earning only minimum wage or working in a local restaurant, but as time goes on we learn valuable skills that translate into mucho dinero.
Since we at A Step Above Style value your time (and because you already know why you’re here) we’ll jump right in.
Let’s begin.

What is Lifestyle Creep?

The natural progression for most people is to spend more as they earn more. They remember “where they came from” and all the things they had to miss out on.
Now that they have more money, they feel it is only right that they buy and do all those nicer things they used to not be able to afford.
“Yesterday’s luxuries have become today’s necessities”.
The Effects of Lifestyle Creep
The problem with living this way should be obvious. As soon as you start spending more, your raise becomes nonexistent.
It’s as if you never received a raise in the first place because you spent everything that you just began to earn.
This is something you need to be aware of and actively avoid. Everyone would like to have more money, but be careful of feeling the need to show off how good you are doing in life by walking the path of Lifestyle Creep.

You should not have to discard clothing you genuinely love simply because…

- Is Your Side Hustle Actually Making You Money?Side hustles are often discussed as if every dollar earned is additional income. You make $1,000 selling products online. You earn $500 driving on the weekends. You collect $2,000 from freelance clients. Those numbers may sound impressive. But revenue is not the same as profit. The money coming in does not tell you how much…
