Today I have something very special for you all.
I’m going to share with you my affordable, two-watch rotation that has lasted me for the past 3+years.
To be specific I’m talking about my dress watches, and even more specifically, the Orient Bambino.
Also, for your convenience, I’ve included hyperlinks to these watches throughout today’s blog post.
P.S. Using the links is a great way to support the ASAS blog!
Now with all that said, let’s take a look at these watches.

Why I Love These Watches

First, what attracted me to the Orient Bambino is it’s elegance. It features a domed mineral crystal that is a thing of beauty.
Second, the Orient Bambino is renowned by watch enthusiasts as having a tremendous “bang for your buck” value. It has the look of a much more expensive watch while still maintaining a modest $135 price tag.
Third, it’s a sleek watch that fits well under the shirt of any dress shirt. The dial is easy to read, and even features a date window.

So Much Value To Enjoy
I’m a big believer in buying the best products at the best prices, and the Orient Bambino doesn’t disappoint.
One of the golden rules here at A Step Above Style is :
“It’s better to have money than look like you have money. In other words, never break your budget trying to look good!”
ASAS Golden Rule
The Orient Bambino allows you to have a watch that is made well with quality materials, while still being affordable to most consumers.
For example, how often would you actually wear a watch that cost $800?
Would you be afraid of messing it up? Is it only for “special occasions”? Is it logical to buy a expensive watch that only gets worn a few times a year?
The Bambino allows you to have a expensive- looking watch that doesn’t actually break the bank.
You won’t be afraid to wear it, because it can easily be replaced if broken, damaged, or lost.
Conclusion
Most watch enthusiasts would say that the Orient Bambino is a entry level watch which is a statement I can agree with.
However there are also “entry level” Rolex’s that cost $10,000.
To each their own, but as for me, I won’t be spending 10K on a watch and still thinking it’s “entry level”!
Will I buy more watches in the future? Probably so. But these two watches have met my formal wear needs for the past 3+ years, and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.
I would highly recommend these to any of the gentlemen reading the blog. Additionally, our lady readers may pick up this watch for the special man in their life as a gift.
The Bambino is a watch that will draw compliments, start conversations , and make you excited to wear it every chance you get.
Pro Tip: Wear this watch even in business-casual / casual scenarios to add that extra boost to your outfit. Think casual elegance.

Until next time, y’all have a good one.
